[Aden – Wednesday, March 25, 2020] The Southern Transitional Council’s General Department of Foreign Affairs welcomes the call made by Mr. Antonio Guterres (United Nation’s Secretary-General) for a world-wide ceasefire and uniting efforts to confront the emerging Corona virus.

This affirms the importance of the call made by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, Chairman of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, in his speech last Sunday, March 22, 2020.

He called on all political sides with different orientations, to overcome all differences and unite efforts to cooperate and come together in order to confront this serious pandemic that threatens everyone, stressing the need for all parties to be responsible given the current circumstances.
