Announcement regarding October 14, 2018

In a meeting, on October 11, 2018, the Leadership Council of the Southern Transitional Council decided that this year’s central festivities on the occasion of the anniversary of the revolution on 14 October 1963 will not take place. Given the worsening living conditions in South Yemen, the funds earmarked for the festivities will be channeled into the council’s humanitarian aid projects to help thousands of impoverished families in South Yemen.
